A Silly Question

Hi all, new here...

I've popped in to ask a question you'll probably think is daft - I certainly do...

Is it possible that my cat knows when I'm on my period? He's nearly a year old and fairly loving but independant much of the time. When I'm menstruating, though, we turns into a total cuddlebunny and doesn't want to leave my side. It's clear he knows something is different, but how? Am I warmer? Do I smell different? Does he just pick up on my somewhat elevated stress levels? I don't think it's a hormonal thing (he's neutered). Whatever it is, the extra cuddles are very welcome!

Obviously this isn't really an important question, I'm just curious to know whether anyone else has had a similar experience...
