Where can I find an awesome journal type item to track my cycle?
Besides the obvious "buy a journal and track" it.
I am having INCREASED craziness PMS related emotional changes due to my maybe too high of estrogen intake or some other reason that I will bring up with my midwife the 8th and i'd like to track it until NEXT April.

I mean non-electronic, hand and paper type cycle tracker. Not online...I don't remember use the online ones and I don't have a phone that is "smart".

I second the app thing, if you have a phone that supports one. I use iMenses. It estimates length, start date, ovulation, and when you click on the dates there are icons you can choose for things like mood swings, headaches, cramps, other mood/physical symptoms, and a notes section where you can write other things not included in the app. It also sends an email 1-3 days before your estimated start date to let you know when to expect your period.

I think there are probably better apps out there, but I got mine when there weren't many available. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with it.

And if you don't have the fancy mini-laptop-masquerading-as-a-phone, try My Monthly Cycles (formerly MyCycle... wow I haven't been on there in a looooong time!), which does about the same thing as the apps, but is available on regular computers too ^_^

Ah, just saw your update. I used to have a normal wall calendar and I'd just mark a little "X" for when I expected it to start (based on some pseudo mathematical averaging of the last few periods, or something like that) and then mark a circle when it started. I don't know that there are any journals specifically for the purpose.

Femilia probably does it, and I know My Monthly Cycles sends you emails a few days before your estimated period. That both gave me a heads up, and gave me enough of a reminder to go in and mark it off when my period actually started. I'm bad at remembering routines like that (especially only once a month) and I only missed a few months in the two years I used it. Your mileage may vary, though.
